Gaza flotilla boat : The only remaining boat in a flotilla carrying aid to Gaza sailed towards the war-torn Palestinian territory on Friday.
The Israeli navy began intercepting them on Wednesday, and an Israeli official said the following day that boats with over 400 people on board had been prevented from reaching the coastal territory.
Yet, despite the crackdown, one lone boat continues its voyage — carrying with it not only essential supplies but also the hopes of millions under siege in Gaza.

Israel’s Intervention
- Israeli naval forces intercepted and dismantled most of the flotilla before it could reach Gaza.

The Australian captain, who identified himself only as Cameron, explained that the boat initially had engine issues and was therefore lagging behind the main group. The vessel is now “steaming” towards Gaza, Cameron added.
“We have a bunch of very tough Turks onboard … we’ve got a lady from Oman and myself, and we’re just going to continue in the direction,” he said.
What tracker tracks
According to the flotilla’s tracker
That left just one ship, the Marinette, pressing ahead with its mission to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
Civilian Challenge
“The world saw what happens when civilians challenge a siege. And still — Marinette sails on,” the flotilla said on Instagram.
“She knows the fate of her sisters on the water. She knows what awaits. And she refuses to turn back.”
Protesters around the world held rallies yesterday condemning Israel’s interceptions and urging greater sanctions in response.

About 15,000 people marched in Barcelona – where the flotilla began its voyage – chanting slogans including “Gaza, you are not alone”, “Boycott Israel” and “Freedom for Palestine”.
Israeli Prime MInister Respond
“I commend the soldiers and commanders of the navy who carried out their mission on Yom Kippur in the most professional and efficient manner,” he said in a statement.
“Their important action prevented dozens of vessels from entering the war zone and repelled a campaign of delegitimisation against Israel.”
What’s Next?
Whether the last remaining boat will be allowed to dock in Gaza remains uncertain. What is clear, however, is that the flotilla

whether stopped or not—has reignited global conversations about the blockade, humanitarian access, and the ongoing plight of Palestinians in Gaza.
