The Türkiye Burslari Scholarship, also called Türkiye Scholarships, is one of the world’s largest government scholarship programmes. It supports international students at bachelor’s, master’s and PhD level, and one application also covers your university placement in Turkey. Because the application window is short, the best time to prepare is now.
Expected 2027 timeline
| Application window | Usually about 10 January to 20 February each year (2027 dates expected to follow this pattern) |
|---|---|
| Initial evaluation | March and April |
| Interviews | Spring, for shortlisted candidates |
| Results | Summer |
| Studies begin | September or October, usually starting with a Turkish language year |
Applications go through the official online portal, and it is free. Never pay an agent or website for “guaranteed” selection.
